  1. Definitions

1.1 “Company” refers to Summit Sound and Light, providing sound and lighting services. 1.2 “Client” refers to the individual, business, or entity contracting the services of the Company. 1.3 “Services” refer to the sound and lighting equipment rental, setup, operation, and related services provided by the Company. ⸻

  1. Services Provided

2.1 Summit Sound and Light agrees to provide sound and lighting services as detailed in the written agreement or invoice. 2.2 Any additional services requested by the Client outside of the agreed scope may incur extra charges. 2.3 Summit Sound and Light reserves the right to refuse service if the Client’s venue or event conditions pose a safety risk. ⸻

  1. Booking, Deposits, and Payment

3.1 A non-refundable deposit of [percentage]% is required to secure the booking. The balance is due [2] days before the event unless otherwise specified in our contract agreement. 3.2 Payments can be made via [accepted payment methods, e-transfer or cash]. 3.3 Late payments may result in additional fees of [10]% per day or cancellation of agreed services. ⸻

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancellations by the Client must be in writing and are subject to the following: • More than [14] days before the event: [100]% refund of payments made (excluding deposit). • Less than [14] days before the event: No refund. 4.2 If Summit Sound and Light cancels due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, equipment failure), a full refund will be issued.   1. Equipment Use and Liability

5.1 Summit Sound and Light is responsible for setting up and operating its equipment unless otherwise agreed. 5.2 The Client is liable for any damage to the Company’s equipment caused by negligence, misuse, or interference from event attendees. 5.3 Summit Sound and Light is not responsible for technical issues arising from power supply failures or venue restrictions. ⸻

  1. Health & Safety

6.1 The Client must ensure the venue complies with all health, safety, and fire regulations. 6.2 Summit Sound and Light reserves the right to stop services if conditions become hazardous (e.g., extreme weather, overcrowding). ⸻

  1. Force Majeure

7.1 Summit Sound and Light is not liable for cancellations or service interruptions due to acts of God, natural disasters, power failures, government restrictions, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond its control. ⸻

  1. Insurance & Liability

8.1 Summit Sound and Light carries [general liability insurance details if applicable]. 8.2 The Client is advised to obtain event insurance to cover potential losses. 8.3 Summit Sound and Light is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from service interruptions. ⸻

  1. Dispute Resolution
